About this module:

• What you'll learn? In this module, we’re going to talk about the lifespan of actions or requests. When you send someone a to-do, how long is is “alive” for?
• Why it matters? To get action to happen, make the action simple. If an action doesn’t get completed in the first week, it’s unlikely to happen at all.

Make it practical - Questions and exercises you can try with your team:

1. How many requests for action did you send out last week? Maybe 50? 100? 200?
2. How many were completed? Maybe half of all these?
3. Of the percentage of completed tasks – people who sent you information, or answered your questions, how long on average did it take them to come back to you?
4. On your to-do list right now, how many tasks have been waiting for someone else to complete an action for more than two weeks? Cross them off.
